July 6th 2016, Bridgewater Nova Scotia...Police charge two females with drug charges relating to Marihuana, Cocaine and Oxycodone.

On July 4th 2016, the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit arrested five individuals during a targeted traffic stop in the Town of Bridgewater. A quantity of Marihuana, Oxycodone and Cocaine was seized along with a quantity of cash. The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit was assisted by members of the Bridgewater Police Service and Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia.

Samantha Marie Wamboldt and Brianna Leigh Stoddard, both 21 of Halifax, Nova Scotia have been charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marihuana contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Oxycodone contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
  • Trafficking Marihuana, Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Samantha Wamboldt and Brianna Stoddard are scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on October 5th 2016.
