Bridgewater Police Service is inviting applications from candidates interested in serving our community as seasonal part-time crossing guards.
In this non-union position, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety of school children, parents, and other members of the public who are crossing in the school zone on York Street in the vicinity of Bridgewater Elementary School and Bridgewater Junior High School before and after school.
Hours of work are approximately 8:00 to 9:05 a.m. and 2:20 to 3:15 p.m. each day that the Bridgewater schools are in session.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with youth in our community and play an important role by helping to ensure they can safely arrive at and depart from school each day.
