The Seniors Safety Academy is a program designed to give seniors an opportunity to learn hands-on about crime prevention, personal safety, and other issues important to seniors’ health.
Over six sessions, seniors participate in a number of workshop-style presentations delivered by a dynamic group of guest presenters with a different topic each week. To participate in the Seniors Safety Academy, participants must be age 55 or over.
There is no charge to attend the Seniors Safety Academy. All handouts and supplies are provided. Hosted by the Lunenburg County Seniors’ Safety Program and supported by Bridgewater Police Service and the Lunenburg County RCMP.
Date: April 25 – June 6 (7 weeks), Tuesdays, 1:30 – 4:00 pm
