Three people charged in stolen vehicle probe
Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026
Bridgewater Police Service charged a trio of South Shore residents with crimes resulting from a gun complaint and stolen vehicle investigation which culminated in high-risk arrests at gunpoint in Wileville this summer.
A man from Queens County and a woman and man from Lunenburg County are accused of taking a 2024 Buick Encore without consent. The woman is further charged with possessing a Gamo PT-85 air soft pistol for a dangerous purpose.
Kyle Wamboldt, 21, of Watford; Nicholas Feener, 35, of Westfield; and Holly Creelman, 42, of Dayspring are due to appear Nov. 4 in provincial court in Bridgewater.
The allegations stem from an incident in August originating from Upper Branch, Lunenburg County. Law enforcement learned of gun complaint involving occupants of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in that community. Just after 8 a.m. August 11, Bridgewater Police Service received an alert from Lunenburg District RCMP about the suspect vehicle likely heading toward town.
As the investigation unfolded, police learned the SUV had been stolen from a First South, Lunenburg County address.
Just before 9 a.m., officers intercepted the vehicle near the Highway 103 interchange in Wileville and arrested three people without incident. The trio were taken into custody at gunpoint because call information indicated the suspects were in possession of a firearm, making the matter of high-risk to public and officer safety. Officers are trained and practice high-risk arrests when weapons are, or are believed to be, present.
The accused are free on court-ordered conditions pending their next appearance in front of a judge.
Anyone with information that may help with the investigation is asked to contact Bridgewater Police Service at 902-543-2464.
