Subject: Police agencies carrying out search in Lunenburg County related to alleged threats
BRIDGEWATER, NS – An active investigation is underway in northern Lunenburg County following alleged threats made against a provincial justice building on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
As of approximately 7:30 a.m. this morning, multiple members of Bridgewater Police Service including the BPS K-9 Unit, along with Nova Scotia RCMP and subsequently the Bridgewater Fire Department drone team, are in the area of Nineveh, Nova Scotia, attempting to locate and apprehend a man believed to be responsible for uttering the alleged threats.
There is no threat to public safety at this time. If circumstances change, an update to the public will be provided immediately.
