We wish to advise the public that Bridgewater Police Service is engaged in an active recovery operation, along with EHS and Bridgewater Fire Department, on the LaHave River.
At this time, we are asking the public to avoid the King Street Court area, and motorists should consider taking alternate routes to avoid the King Street block between Dominion and Empire if possible.
There is no threat to the public. Additional information will be provided to the public as we are able to do so.
