On May 31, 2022, Bridgewater Police Service members observed an adult male known to them to have an outstanding warrant walking near Maple Street. Members attempted to arrest the male when he fled on foot. Members pursued the male through the area, including through an apartment building, where he was located hiding on the second floor.

A 32-year-old Lunenburg County male is currently in custody and remanded until his next Court appearance on August 16, 2022. He is facing existing charges of Trafficking Cocaine, Threats, Assault, Weapon Offences, Breach of Court Order, and Obstructing/Resisting a peace officer.
